Ghosts & Scholars magazine was founded in 1979 by Rosemary Pardoe. Devoted to articles about the work of M R James and other authors in the wide-ranging "Jamesian" tradition, as well as new fiction in that mould, it ceased publication in 2001. Its successor The G&S M R James Newsletter now publishes news, notes, and articles on James and all Jamesian matters and personalities.

TARTARUS PRESS
Small Press publisher whose beautifully produced limited editions concentrate on the works of Arthur Machen, and modern fiction in the "decadent" tradition
